Best Student SDG Project Award
This award celebrates the remarkable efforts of a student project that demonstrates a profound commitment to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It recognizes the initiative and dedication of the project in driving positive change towards a more sustainable future.
This award embodies the spirit of sustainability through innovative solutions and tangible outcomes, and serves as an inspiration to others, striving to make a difference in their communities and beyond.
Eligibility:
- Project developed by a team of students, can be nominated by their faculty member or students themselves
- Stage: beyond ideation, at a stage of implementation
- Future17 project or independent students’ initiatives
Once you have decided to apply, follow these steps:
- Select the correct category and pathway and click "ENTER NOW."
- Register to set up your account. Please note the account login requirements on the Awards entry system and complete all questions. If you have applied in 2022 / 2023, please re-use the same credentials to access your account.
- After registering, you will receive an email with a validation code that you must add to complete the registration process. Please check your junk folder just in case the email landed there.
- You will need to register on the platform before submitting your entry. If you need to take a break, you can save your progress and return later by logging in using the "YOUR ACCOUNT" tab in the menu.
- To submit your entry, agree to the terms and conditions and click the "COMPLETE" button at the bottom of the page. If you forget your password, please use the reset password link on the login page.

QS, together with Consortia of universities including the University of Exeter, UK, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Stellenbosch University, South Africa, University of Auckland, New Zealand, the American University of Cairo, Egypt, LUISS University, Italy, American University of Sharjah, UAE, Tec de Monterrey, Mexico, Arizona State University, USA, and others are running the Future17 SDG Challenge focused on developing the 21st century skills while addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The QS ImpACT Charity is sourcing projects from companies, global organizations, start-ups and non-profits that tackle at least one of the Goals and provide students with an opportunity to have real-life work experience while still studying.
